The problem with most character pillows is that they collapse under their own cuteness. Flat, floppy, decorative — and in a corner by week two.

Soft enough for a 2am shoulder
The outer flannelette has a fleece-pile weave that's been brushed for an extra-fine touch — no scratchy backing, no loose fibres, no pilling after the first wash. Kids' cheeks, sensitive skin, a bare shoulder leaning on it in the middle of the night: all fine.

Washable, because it will need it
Anything that lives on a bed gets washed eventually. Unzip the back panel, pull out the inner cushion, and toss the cover in on a cold gentle cycle. Air-dry flat. The PP cotton filling doesn't clump or shift, so the cushion keeps its shape through all of it.
One note: spot-clean the embroidered face. The eyes, bow and paw pads are stitched rather than glued — which is exactly why they survive the wash.
Where it ends up
Slumped against the headboard it's a character. Stretched along the bed it frames the pillow set. Propped in a bay window it becomes a room accent. The proportions are deliberate — narrow enough to share a sofa, tall enough to read from across the room.
